BRISTOL HUB PASTOR
Pastor John Graves

Born in Nashville and raised in Kentucky, John studied anthropology at the University of Kentucky. After serving in the United States Air Force, he built a career as a field service engineer in medical technology.
John and his wife, Lucy, moved to Bristol in 1990 and raised three children here. He felt a call to ministry in 2014 and received his local pastor license the following year, serving rural congregations in Sullivan County before joining the Bristol HUB.
Outside ministry, John enjoys biblical archaeology, gardening, live music, nature, and electronics. He and Lucy also share an interest in genealogy and travel connected to history.
BRISTOL HUB PASTOR
Rev. Caroline Hawthorne

A Bristol native, Caroline grew up at Addilynn Memorial United Methodist Church. She is an ordained elder in the Holston Conference.
Her ministry at Hunt has been shaped by caring for children and neighbors facing poverty and homelessness. When Hunt opened its doors as a warming shelter in 2018, that work helped lead to the formation of the Proverbs 3:27 Mission Center.
Caroline’s passion for children and youth extends through the HUB community. She believes every child deserves to grow up safe, healthy, and nurtured.

Restoration. Love. Healing.
